Breast Imaging Consultants Course 2025

The purpose of this modules is to introduce participants to the certification course, HCAC as an organization, models of external assessment, accreditation process.

At the end of this day the participant will be able to:

1)     Describe the goal and expectations of trainees in the BIU Consultant Course.

2)     Tell the history of accreditation in Jordan.

3)     know the mission, vision, goals, & values of the HCAC into the work of a consultant.

4)     Describe the organizational structure of the HCAC.

5)     Know the history of accreditation evolution.

6)     Identify the policy issues associated with accreditation.

7)     Recognize the importance of standards in improving quality of health care.

8)     Describe the elements of a good standard.

9)     Describe the patient-centered principles that are the foundation of the standards.

10)  Know the main role and responsibilities of BIU consultants.
